More for Denver

I’m Andrew Fischer, and I’m running for City Council District 10 because Denver should expect more from its government.

A city that actually works

Right now, too many basic things aren’t working in Denver. Housing costs remain high. Getting around the city has become harder, not easier. Public safety remains a problem.

I'm running to bring a more competent, accountable, and results-driven approach to City Council, focused on more housing, better transportation, safer streets, and a city that actually works.

Meet Andrew

I'm a Denver attorney. I worked for the Chief Justice of the Colorado Supreme Court, and I've spent my career working with local businesses, public entities, and the communities that depend on them.

Fun Fact: For my first six years in Colorado, I didn't own a car — I got around mostly by bike and public transit. I don't just talk about transportation policy. I know it.

    Competent, Accountable Government

Denver voted to fund housing, climate, and many other initiatives. City government should deliver.

    Housing Affordability

Denver has an affordable housing crisis because we've made it too slow and too expensive to build. The fix isn't complicated. It requires political will.

    Transportation and Street Safety

Denver should be a city you can navigate safely, efficiently, and affordably on foot, on a bike, and on transit.

    Public Safety and Order

Denver should have safe, thriving neighborhoods built on effective services and consistent enforcement.

    Vibrant Neighborhoods and Public Life

More town squares, library hours, and restaurants. A city worth living in, not just working in.

There's no reason Denver cannot make progress toward public safety like Tokyo, affordable housing like Minneapolis, transportation like Copenhagen, or neighborhoods like Paris.

We need a City Council impatient with the status quo, willing to make difficult decisions, and committed to seeing projects through.
